I’m Rhonda, and I am a crafter, cookie maker, and budding photographer. I am also an R.N., turned Stay-at-Home Mom, turned Health Coach. To be honest, I love to craft, bake and be healthy, and I am so darn envious of all those blogs out there. So I am finally just going to start my own darn blog. Why the heck not? I am always oohhh-ing and ahhhhh-ing at all the cool stuff on Pinterest. I’m the one that says, “Oh I gotta make that!”, and then I never do or, I seldom do. But darn it, I could! I love the feeling I get when I am all done with a project and it turns out super cool or, way cooler than I thought it would. I want to be that cool blog person, so I am jumping in, not knowing what the heck I am doing (craft-wise yes, blog-wise, not so much), but I will have fun figuring it out! I’ll get some crafting, and baking done, and pass along healthy knowledge in the meantime.
Do you ever feel like you are bursting with creativity, but just can’t get started? You’ve pinned a thousand things on Pinterest, with a solemn vow that you will make at least one project before the end of the year? Do you get to the end of the year and say to yourself, “What happened”? Well, you are not alone. Many of us are so overwhelmed with day-to-day super packed schedules, that our craftiness is the last thing we spend time on, even if creating is the one thing we love doing the most.
With this blog, I am hoping to inspire you would-be crafters, and you polished ones, with some fun craft ideas. I hope I can show you some photography tricks, and fun cookie decorating too. Let’s throw in some healthy stuff too! I am hoping to ramp up some posts about health and fitness for my followers, and my clients that I personally coach…balance and moderation, right? That is what we are trying to achieve. Crafts, cookies, and coaching. “Gotta Make That” allows me to create things I love, and make that goal I set for myself.
This blog motivates me to keep the projects coming, organize my thoughts, and turn my long list of ‘Gotta make that’ into “Hey look what I made!” or “I made it!”. For the love of Craft, health, and fun, let’s do this together!
